Hey peeps... This place is kinda dead isn't it? Well, am here to make it not so dead... Are we all anticipating the new J1s' arrival??? And sing 'dang ta la lang dang' together... Hahaz... Ok, very random...
Removed the song from the blog, so now it will be relatively more peaceful when you come...
Kuanyee: Yea, we did really little advertisement of this blog... Maybe help us tellt the others about this blog? Seriously, I wonder who visit this blog too... =P
Here are some of the reflections done after the caroling... Enjoy reminiscing those moments... =)
For me to join this carolling event to bring joy, fun and the Christmas spirits to the others is a very special and meaningful activity. I felt very satisfied when they smile at us and said thank you to us after we had perform to them and gave them the paper crane that we had make for them. I hope there will be more of such activities for the years to come and I'll love to be part of them.

Carolling was tiring and draining but it was all worth it. We brought joy to the patients and this was what most of them needed. i was glad that most appreciated what we sang, and this was not what I expected. I really enjoyed myself.

Organizing carolling reflections has been a great joy for me as i now feel more appreciative of the people who worked behind the scenes. Sure it takes a lot of hard work and sometimes even risk in making this event a success. But, i must say what an event would be without its several mishaps such as attendance and the singing of Chinese songs. Overall, I bet many would agree that the carolling is a success and we did put up a smile on those people who were lonely and feeling rather down during the holiday season. I am happy that we are able to do that as making people happy would naturally make me happy as well.
I think we showed a lot of teamwork during these carolling sessions as well as the making of the cards and origami. This should be a good sign for our participation in SYF next year. In order to get GOLD or even better, teamwork is the most important factor as I feel that singing in a choir is not about individualism but a group of people singing together. I also found the spirit of teamwork when working with Arifah and Taufik as well as you, Ms Chen. I could never ask for a better group of people to work with. Therefore, I feel that these carolling not only bring joy to others but indirectly bond us together as a group and prepare us for future challenges. By Izni Nasihah Zulkifli
With the support of our choir teacher, Ms Chen , the choir heralded the yuletide season by carolling at the St Joseph’s home. This was followed by a series of carolling performances at Bethany Methodist Home, NationalUniversityHospital, Econs Medical Care and at various other homes and hospitals.
I felt glad that that the PJC choir had undertaken this important and meaningful project as it provided us with a great opportunity to promote the spirit of community service. In essence it embodies the true spirit of community involvement and service learning.
Although the hours spent at each home was short, it was extremely rewarding, the old folks showed their appreciation of our efforts by enthusiastically clapping and swaying to our singing.
I definitely would encourage our next batch of juniors to continue this wonderful project and to spread joy to those who are sick and in need of joy and cheer in their lives
